Tissot Ambassador Tomas Lüthi overcame some typical Phillip Island conditions to take the Moto2™ pole position for the Australian Grand Prix just six days after winning the Japanese Grand Prix. The Swiss rider overcame a slow speed crash, fought through some strong winds and cold conditions to grab pole. Twenty riders crashed in qualifying. Thomas Lüthi received his third Tissot-Race pole setting watch of 2016 from Brent Sharp of Tissot Australia. He then went on to win the race. It is the first time in his career that he wins two races in a row. Congratulations Thomas Lüthi!
