We were excited to celebrate the Giro Di Italia opening in Palermo with the Tissot Chrono XL Giro d’Italia 2020 Special Edition and Ivan Basso, former professional road bicycle racer, considered as one of the best mountain riders in the professional field.
Sylvain Dolla, Tissot CEO, said: “Being the Official Timekeeper of the Giro d’Italia is a great opportunity for us as we have been involved in the field of cycling since many years. Tissot is the first watchmaking brand to be the worldwide partner of the all main cycling events. We work hard to provide the best technologies in timekeeping in order to ensure precise results. Being precise is part of our DNA and we don’t compromise on it, from our watches to our timekeeping technologies. In order to celebrate this partnership, Tissot designed a special model: the Tissot Chrono XL Giro d’Italia”
The Tissot Chrono XL Giro d’Italia 2020 is a 45 mm diameter chronograph that has a racing bike on the chronograph’s second hand as a reminder of the cycling spirit of this special collection. In addition to details in pink, the Giro’s emblematic colour, the case back is engraved with the Giro d’Italia logo for a touch of exclusivity. The watch comes in a special presentation box and has two interchangeable straps.
