Fabulous double-podium in Imola for Kessel Classic
Kessel Classic, historical partner of Tissot competed in 2 categories and celebrated a double podium after two challenging races.
2018 marks the return of the renowned vintage car race Imola Classic eagerly awaited by Classic car enthusiasts. The 3 day racing competition was held this weekend on the very popular Italian Circuit Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, known for being one of the few circuits in Europe on which the cars race in an anti-clockwise direction.
Daniele Perfetti, Classic car driver, raced in the category Classic Endurance Racing 1, which includes cars from 1966 to 1981, with the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR from 1974. The same Porsche model who historically raced for the 24h of le Mans in 1974, payed homage to its partner Tissot by showing off a replicate of the original branding on the car. It’s without big surprise that this historical car celebrated a comeback on the podium, finishing second of its category.
