After having been involved in the fast world of race car driving, Tissot further strengthens its ties in motor sports by identifying itself with MotoGPTM and becoming its Official Timekeeper in 2001. Tissot’s association with the prestigious world events in the technological world of motorcycling reflects the nature of the company and its products, the technique behind its movements, and its desire, like those of the participants in these championships, for ever pushing boundaries in all that they do. In 2003, Tissot produces the first Official MotoGP Watch, getting inspiration from the fast bikes and so producing the Tissot T-Race in 2004.
MotoGP™ is the oldest of all motor-sports World Championships. Today, it is the premier motorcycle racing World Championship with pan-global television coverage.

    Jorge Lorenzo

The most decorated Spanish MotoGPTM rider in history, reigning World Champion and one of the most talented riders on the international scene, Jorge Lorenzo, joined the Tissot Family in 2015. Jorge Lorenzo’s path has been paved with precociousness and records. Success has been his companion since the day he rode a bike for the first time at the young age of 3. When he was 8, as one of the youngest, he won the Balearic Championship. Since then, Lorenzo has not stopped growing. He has achieved three World Championships (2010, 2012 and 2015), has been runner-up three times (2009, 2011 and 2013) and has become one of the most important racers of all-time with a record number of Poles. He is also the fourth driver in the all-time list for victories in the premier class and third in line for the most podium finishes.

    Watches inspired by motogp

The Tissot T-Race MotoGP™ Automatic Chronograph Limited Edition has a strong character and many details inspired by motorbike racing. This limited edition with an automatic movement is a must-have for every MotoGP™ fan. The transparent case back is inspired by the shape of a motorcycle wheel. The brake-disc bezel is one of its iconic features. It is also portrayed on the oscillating mass of the automatic movement, seen through the transparent case back.
