MARQUEZ PUTS THE HEAT ON HIS RIVALS

MARQUEZ PUTS THE HEAT ON HIS RIVALS -1194

World Champion Marc Marquez turned the heat onto his rivals by taking pole position for the Grand Prix of Argentina in scorching conditions this afternoon. The 22 year old Spanish Honda rider took his second successive pole position round the ultra-fast 4.806 kms circuit which is situated 1000 kms north- west of Buenos Aires in a frantic 15 minute session. He received his Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar pole setting watch from TV presenter German Paolosky after the 52nd pole position of his career. Joining him on the front row of the grid in the 25 lap race will be the Suzuki of Aleix Espargaro and Ducati of Andrea Iannone. Tyre choice is going to be crucial in the heat tomorrow with both Espargaro and Iannone unable to use the extra hard option which could have a massive bearing on the result.

The Tissot watches received by the winners are:

MotoGP: Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar

Moto2: Tissot T-Race

Moto3: Tissot Quickster
