Technical specifications

  • The Tissot Le Locle automatic watches form a range that is as rich as it is beautiful. A truly historic timepiece, it embodies the spirit of innovation that has defined Tissot for over a century. This model has a blue dial, with diamonds inlaid for the hour markers. This model features a patented Nivachron™ balance spring, which significantly attenuates the effects of magnetic fields while resisting shocks, ageing and temperature variations. It also features a date function and a transparent caseback allowing its internal mechanics to be admired. The leather strap has a butterfly clasp with push buttons. It is interchangeable and easy to open.

  • Accessorization

Most Tissot watches now feature an interchangeable strap system. The unique unlock system enables to easily remove the strap without the need of a tool. Interchangeable straps are the best way to personalise your watch as they offer a great choice of customisation for your timepiece, to suit any occasion in two simple clicks.

  • Water resistance

All Tissot watch cases undergo several tests, including a water resistance check. Tissot tests the watch's ability to resist impacts and pressure, as well as the penetration of liquids, gas and dust by replicating the real-life conditions in which the watch may find itself.

  • Diamonds

Tissot pledges to guarantee the origin and quality ‒ including colour, clarity and carats ‒ of the diamonds in its watches. All Tissot diamonds meet the certification requirements of the Kimberley process, an international system for certifying rough diamonds.

  • Nivachron™

Because the magnetic fields generated by our electronic objects (mobile phone, computer, radio, magnetic closure, etc.) are more present than ever in our daily lives, Tissot has developed a new cutting-edge titanium-based alloy to preserve the precision of its watches. A Nivachron™ balance spring is regarded as far more resistant and unaffected by magnetic fields compared to standard springs.
