Technical specificities

  • Discover the new Seastar 44mm Powermatic 80. This new edition has undergone a subtle transformation, incorporating a notch along the edges of the case, resulting in a more compact and sophisticated appearance. This automatic timepiece is the perfect watch for those in search of a sporty yet assertive accessory. Certified according to the ISO 6425:2018 diving watch standard, it meets the strict requirements expected of professional diving instruments. Equipped with a helium escape valve, it is designed to perform reliably during saturation diving by allowing helium particles accumulated inside the case to safely escape during decompression. The watch is water-resistant up to a pressure of 60 bar (600 metres / 2,000 feet) and offers excellent legibility in low-light conditions thanks to its Super-LumiNova® coated hands and hour markers. Straps and bracelets can be interchanged using Tissot’s easy-to-use quick strap change system, giving the owner the opportunity to choose from a wide range of compatible Tissot straps and personalise their watch to suit mood or occasion. Discover the unique aesthetic of this blue version with its ceramic bezel ring, blue gradient dial and matching blue rubber strap, following the collection's signature sporty yet bold appeal.
  • Powermatic 80

An automatic watch is powered by the energy of the person who wears it. Wrist movement enables the mechanism to run. The Powermatic 80 movement boasts 80 hours of power reserve, which is enough to continue telling time accurately even if the watch is not worn for three days. It is an innovative movement that outperforms the competition, whose movements generally provide 1.5 days of power reserve*. *Non-contractual image

  • Superluminova®

Ensuring visibility under all conditions is an important goal for Tissot. This is why some timepieces feature a material we call SuperLuminova®. This material is placed on visible parts such as dials and hands, where it functions as a miniature accumulator of reflected light when the watch finds itself in the dark*. *Non-contractual image

  • Water resistance

All Tissot watch cases undergo several tests, including a water resistance check. Tissot tests the watch's ability to resist impacts and pressure, as well as the penetration of liquids, gas and dust by replicating the real-life conditions in which the watch may find itself*. *Non-contractual image

  • Ceramic

This material, recognised to be one of the hardest substances, has been used at Tissot for decades. It is perfectly suited to the external parts of a watch that is exposed to daily scratching and impacts. Ceramic ingredients include aluminium oxide and zirconium, which means that it will never oxidise no matter how much time passes*. *Non-contractual image
