In tribute to the 50th anniversary of UFO Robot Grendizer, Tissot come back with a new exceptional piece: the PRX Grendizer 50th Anniversary Special Edition, limited to 1975 pieces.
At the heart of this limited edition beats the Powermatic 80 movement, with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring designed to resist magnetic fields and temperature variations. A mechanism worthy of interstellar journeys, water-resistant to 10 bar, robust, and ready for action it is engineered to keep up with you across your adventures, while the whisper of traveling at the speed of light echoes in every tick.
Visible through the transparent caseback, the movement reveals a hidden guardian: Grendizer himself, engraved on the oscillating weight, as if watching over the mechanism from the shadows like a sentinel from the stars. Each piece is individually numbered, with “Limited Edition 1 of 1975” engraved on the caseback a nod to the year Grendizer first lit up screens and imaginations.
