Seastar Chronograph 38mm: A New Size Emerges from the Depths

Rooted in decades of expertise shaping water-resistant timepieces, a new size emerges in the Seastar collection: a 38mm chronograph shaped by the Seastar’s past, set in motion for the future.

Since its debut in 1952, the Seastar has reflected Tissot’s pursuit of performance. Born from a desire to evolve into uncharted territory, the Seastar explores new tones and finishes, each one a new line in the story it continues to write.

A shift in the current

This new wave of models brings six interpretations of the Seastar, each one catching the light, moving subtlety, and making its own way into the collection. The first model opens with a vertically brushed silver and white gradient dial in a stainless steel case paired with a white silicone strap, a composition that refracts light like the sun on water. The second brings contrast to the collection, pairing a teal brushed dial with a full PVD rose gold case and matching teal silicone strap, a vivid interplay of tone and temperature, like a memory shaped by the sea. Two all-black PVD executions follow, one on silicone, the other on steel, they extend the line’s reach into more expressive waters bringing depth to the line. The final two models are stainless steel. One pairs a brushed black dial, while the other adds yellow gold PVD accents to the bracelet for a two-tone interpretation. Each one brings a different current, but together they complete the tide.

Beneath the surface

The new 38mm Quartz Chronograph distils the essence of water-sport functionality into a new format. Crafted in stainless steel and water-resistant to 30 bar (300m/1000ft), equipped to handle both the pace of life and your time in the elements. Its Swiss quartz chronograph movement is framed by a unidirectional water-sport bezel, with a screw-down crown and case back for added protection. The sub-dials deliver balance and control, while luminescent hands and markers remain visible when light begins to fade. Designed for those who move like water, calm on the surface, driven underneath, and never afraid to go deeper.
